He currently lives and works in Buenos Aires. He obtained an undergraduate degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes. Since 2012 he attends Diana Aisenberg&#8217;s group critique seminar. As a teenager he was trained in goldsmithing by the master Armando Ferreira in Olavarr\u00eda. Among his most important solo exhibitions are \u201cMi pu\u00f1ado de espl\u00edn a\u00f1o 3001\u201d (ArtBasel Miami 2021), \u201c\u00bfNo soy de aqu\u00ed?\u201d (Museo D\u00e1maso Arce, 2021) \u201cPatrimonio y algo mas&#8230;\u201d (Isla Flotante, 2019), &#8220;Un episodio en la vida del artista popular\u201d (Centro Cultural Haroldo Conti, 2016), \u201cRelaci\u00f3n abierta\u201d (Galer\u00eda Isla Flotante, 2016) and \u201cIndio vago, gaucho matrero, artista contempor\u00e1neo\u201d (Espacio Diagonal, 2014). Valent\u00edn&#8217;s work has been included in group exhibitions at Espacio Fundaci\u00f3n Telef\u00f3nica, Museo Emilio Caraffa, the art department at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and in the section DIXIT at ArteBA art fair, among other galleries and institutions. He has been awarded for his work by Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires MALBA, Fundaci\u00f3n Telef\u00f3nica (2012) and Fondo Nacional de las Artes &#8211; (Beca Centenario, 2016). He won the Revelaci\u00f3n award given by Fundaci\u00f3n Andreani a las Artes Visuales (2013), the Lucio Fontana award given by the Consulate General of Italy in Buenos Aires (2014), and second place in the 11th Concurso Nacional de Artes Visuales organized by the UADE (2016).
