{"id":2628,"date":"2023-09-21T10:53:41","date_gmt":"2023-09-21T13:53:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mapadelarte.museomoderno.org\/artistas\/kovensky-nina\/"},"modified":"2024-05-25T20:19:12","modified_gmt":"2024-05-25T23:19:12","slug":"kovensky-nina","status":"publish","type":"artistas","link":"https:\/\/mapadelarte.museomoderno.org\/en\/artistas\/kovensky-nina\/","title":{"rendered":"Kovensky Nina"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Nina Kovensky was born in 1993, she currently lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.<br>She is a multidisciplinary artist, who for over ten years has been exhibiting her works in diverse ways. In 2011\/12 she received the \u201cCasa Escuela de Arte\u201d Scholarship and simultaneously participated in Isla Flotante gallery by making \u201cMy first job, My first show\u201d. Between 2013 and 2016 Nina moved to C\u00f3rdoba and learned about vegan cuisine. She did art critic sessions with An\u00edbal Buede, thanks to which she started her first self-managed curatorial projects for solo shows. She made an exhibition with her father Martin at El Gran Vidrio Gallery.<br>In 2017 Nina returned to Buenos Aires to attend the Artist \u0301s Program of the Di Tella University.<br>She received a grant from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes and made the documentary \u201cQue Aparezca Maresca\u201d with the help from Mic Ritacco. The same year Nina made \u201cKlapaucius&#8221;, a solo show curated by 141 people, in the Isla Flotante gallery. In 2018, she presented a solo show at arteBA and obtained the \u201cPremio en Obra\u201d award for the best young artist.<br>Since 2019 Nina has been performing in public spaces, incorporating accomplices most of the time on public transportation, she calls these interventions \u201cinterferences\u201d. In 2021 she exhibited on the collective show \u201cAdentro no hay m\u00e1s que una morada\u201d in Galer\u00eda PM. She takes part on diverse collective projects: \u201cSirenes Errantes\u201d (performance) and \u201cPutas de Mierda\u201d (poetry). Since 2022, she has been the host, together with Os\u00edas Yanov, of \u201cPulper\u00eda Mutu\u00e1lica\u201d a community center of multiple experiences and meetings.
