Driven by Benito Quinquela Mart\u00edn, whom he met at age 12 on a school outing, he began taking painting classes in San Telmo with teacher Mateo Mollo. Giuffr\u00e9 has attended his workshop daily for 6 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He attends the free workshops of the Est\u00edmulo de Bellas Artes Association, studying and painting in ink washes with the teacher Jiro Mizutani. He is part of the courses at the \u201cErnesto de la C\u00e1rcova\u201d Higher School of Fine Arts and studies Economics at the University of Buenos Aires and Philosophy at the University of Salvador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has exhibited regularly since 1964. He published the realist manifestos titled \u201cOf the intimate structure of the real\u201d (1968), \u201cManifesto of free painters\u201d (1973), \u201cTowards a structural realism\u201d (1975), \u201cGuidelines of structural realism \u201d (1976), \u201cThe realism in which I believe\u201d (1976), \u201cStructural realism as the possibility of being of painting\u201d (1978) and \u201cRealist and Relational Manifesto\u201d (1984), in which he establishes his position within art .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions both in Buenos Aires, Bogot\u00e1, Medell\u00edn, New York, Mexico City.
