The gallery is located in the heart of the Museum Quarter of Buenos Aires, between the Latin American Museum (MALBA), the Museum of Fine Arts (MNBA) and Museum of Decorative Arts. Since its opening, the MCMC has presented renowned solo exhibitions dedicated to Jorge De La Vega, Edgardo A. Vigo, Edgardo Gim\u00e9nez, Manuel Espinosa, Rogelio Polesello, V\u00edctor Magari\u00f1os D. and Horacio Zabala, as well as outstanding group shows such as Abstracci\u00f3n Geom\u00e9trica, Arte Cin\u00e9tico Argentino, Pop &amp; Post Pop, among others. It has also collaborated in institutional exhibitions such as Edgardo Gim\u00e9nez\u2019s solo exhibition at the Di Tella Institute and at the National Museum of Fine Arts of Neuqu\u00e9n; Eduardo Costa\u2019s solo exhibition at the Tamayo Museum in Mexico; Rogelio Polesello\u2019s solo exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts of Neuqu\u00e9n and C\u00e9sar Paternosto\u2019s exhibitions at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid and at the National Museum of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires.<br>Currently, the gallery participates in national and international art fairs such as: arteba in Buenos Aires, Frieze New York, Frieze Masters in London, ARCO in Madrid, among others.<br>Growing in parallel with the emerging field of Latin American Modern Art abroad, MCMC understands the importance of actively participating in the international art market scene, as well as working in collaboration with public institutions, private collections, museums and other cultural organizations in the expansion of aesthetic knowledge, providing a careful approach to the important legacy of the artists it represents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1107,"template":"","tags":[211,212,285,314,271],"class_list":["post-1513","galerias","type-galerias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tag-1960-1970-en","tag-1970-1980-en","tag-historia-en","tag-pintura-en","tag-escultura-en","entry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/mapadelarte.museomoderno.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/galerias\/1513","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/mapadelarte.museomoderno.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/galerias"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/mapadelarte.museomoderno.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/galerias"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mapadelarte.museomoderno.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1107"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/mapadelarte.museomoderno.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1513"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mapadelarte.museomoderno.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1513"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
